L'Oréal Brandstorm 2022: Beauty Access team

The L'Oréal Brandstorm is an innovation competition from the company L'Oréal, which takes place all over the world. My team, called Beauty Access, in 2022, reached the International Semi-Final of the competition with the Sensation Foundation project, a foundation 100% adapted for PWDs, mainly blind people. It was an amazing experience and full of learnings, even more so being our first time at Brandstorm. We conquered Brazil among 5,000 participating groups and almost conquered the whole world.
There were three trails (sustainability, technology and diversity) and one of them should be chosen by the group. We chose the diversity path and decided to focus on the PCD group, as we believe that the beauty market still needs to work hard for the true inclusion of this group. Since then, many studies have been carried out on the subject.
In the first phase, we created our first prototype and the visual identity of our product.
Then, we made our first pitch...
In the second phase, we develop and improve our product.
Afterward, we created our second, smaller, pitch, which we presented at the L'Oréal Brazil headquarters.
After the second phase, we went to the headquarters of L’Oréal Brazil, in Rio de Janeiro, to present our project to the entire company, including important executives.
We made an interesting presentation, creating a connection with the audience and making them understand our project better.
We were one of the winners of the national stage of Brandstorm 2022. We competed with groups from all over Brazil and won on the diversity track. With that, we went to the international stage of the challenge.
We competed with many groups from all over the world, but this time, unfortunately, we didn't win.
We didn't go to Paris, but we gained a lot of experience with this challenge, met amazing people and exceeded our own expectations. It was amazing to participate in LOréal Brandstorm 2022 and I am so grateful for everything!
